[PROZESS-FOKUS: BITUMEN LUBRICATION SYSTEMS]
Bitumen Lubricants for Severe Shock Loads
Heavy industrial extrusion presses expose drive components and open gears to extreme vibration and shock. Our bitumen compounds provide adhesive, cushioning protection up to 350°C.

Safeguarding Heavy Open Gears in Press Shops
Bitumen-based adhesive lubricants (PROMET BitumGuard) merge selected heavy bitumen fractions with specialized polar additives. They establish a highly tenacious, cushioning tribo-film that resists squeezing and washing off.
This protects large open drive gears and sliding tracks from micro-pitting and abrasive wear. With thermal limits up to 350°C, these heavy compounds perform directly adjacent to press columns and cylinders.
