Demolding Dynamics and Thermal Insulation
Mold and die coatings (often called washes or paints) based on pure graphite or boron nitride insulate metallic molds against thermal wear by molten alloys.
They control heat conductivity, retard mold face micro-cracking, and ensure a highly aesthetic, smooth cast surface. Our water-based emulsions can be sprayed or brushed on uniformly.
